Spencer’s energy fuels Penn State’s tenacious attack

Heading to Happy Valley for some football this season with your Kappa Sig Brothers? If so, you’ll likely see a defensive edge brought on by Sean Spencer.
Quarterbacks looking to find an edge against Penn State’s defense have a difficult road ahead of them this season thanks to one major oversight: they probably haven’t spent enough time contemplating chaos theory. And really, who can blame them? The idea that small, seemingly insignificant alterations can give rise to great in-game consequences probably doesn’t factor into many offensive game plans against the Nittany Lions. But chaos theory definitely impacts Penn State’s gameplay — more than fans might previously have imagined.
Sean Spencer makes sure of that.

How Penn State Greek reforms have impacted State College neighbors

New measures put in place to curb dangerous activities in Greek life at Penn State have, in part, led to a calmer and quieter existence in the Highlands neighborhood, where most fraternity houses are located.
“Penn State’s recent reforms with respect to Greek life have helped improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods in an immense and meaningful way,” Mayor Don Hahn said in a statement. “I am appreciative of the Penn State administration, especially President Eric Barron and Vice President for Student Affairs Damon Sims, for seeing the need to and following through on the commitment to change the Greek system for the better. I look forward to continuing to work with Penn State, its fraternities, its students and alumni, and our community members to continue to make positive strides forward for both Penn State and State College.”

A service was held April 2, and more than 20 brothers attended from all along the East Coast, but he will be missed by so many more. Read more about a Brother who embodied the Kappa Sig spirit.
