We honor Kappa Sigma Brothers who have served…
November is a month to celebrate veterans and service members as a whole and Kappa Sigma is proud to count a handful of military members among its ranks! Click below for a list of veteran and serviceman brothers.
Why Support Kappa Sigma? Our active chapter is pursuing exciting initiatives…
The first month of fall semester has proven to be full of challenges and adversity for the Alpha Delta Chapter of Kappa Sigma. We were beyond thrilled to be leaving our previous location to move into a much larger residency.
We expected a larger than normal rush turnout because in the past our lack of traditional housing was a hurdle for us to overcome with rushes. Every brother was enthusiastic and prepared to sacrifice time and energy to make this year’s rush historic.
Saquon Barkley has emerged quickly, and the Penn State running back has gotten even better each week
The Skinny: Per Penn State athletic department rules, true freshman like Saquon Barkley aren’t allowed to speak to the media.
That’s okay. The running back lets his legs do the talking for him and Barkley’s made a pretty vocal entrance into the world of college football with his quick feet, turbocharged burst and ability to make tacklers miss.
We have a new house that will distinguish us as one of the best fraternities at Penn State
We have a new house! After a challenging summer spent trying to find housing for active Kappa Sigma Brothers, we are excited to announce a move-in at 420 E. Prospect Avenue in State College has gone smoothly!

Anthony Zettel’s played with a heavy heart for our Nittany Lions, find out how he’s dealt with the passing of his father while leading Penn State’s defense
The Skinny: No Penn State player played the past few weeks with as heavy a heart as Anthony Zettel, whose father passed away the day before Penn State’s game against San Diego State after a long battle with cancer. Click below for a brief Q&A with Zettel, our Nittany Lion of the Month.
The Penn State Brotherhood is Strong in the NFL
Like the bonds we forged in Kappa Sigma, Penn State football players share a special camaraderie in their own. Turn on almost any NFL team’s game on Sundays – or Mondays or Thursdays – and you’ll find that Nittany Lion football brotherhood strongly represented.
When the NFL season began on Sept. 10, Penn State was one of the best-represented college teams with 32 former Nittany Lions on professional rosters. An additional 10 are members of coaching staffs.
How did we do with our annual fund? Read the report!
We want to take this opportunity to thank all the brothers who gave to our annual fund this past year. Our giving year ended on Sept. 1 and we are happy to report that 100 brothers answered the call to give back to the organization that meant – and continues to mean – so much to all of us. We raised $16,674 in 2014-15 and we think – no, we know we can do better!
Send us your summer stories and update your status!
With over 900 active Kappa Sigma alumni spread out across the country, we’d like to know what everyone has been up to this summer!
And since Fall is rapidly approaching, we’d imagine those summer vacations, picnics and parties are about finished. So what did you do with your summer? Go on a trip? Get married? Get a new job? Welcome a baby or grandchild into the world?
Here’s another one from ’74!
Last month we shipped out an old photo from Spring ’74 of brothers and friends of Kappa Sigma gathered outside, soaking up the sun. Here’s a photo from that same party from the inside! We’re sure more of you have photos boxed up somewhere. We’d love to see them! It’s easy to share your photos. […]
