Remembering Brother Robert Burkhart `81.

Kappa Sigma Penn State has recently learned of the death of a Brother. Our thoughts are with his families and friends.

Brother Ed Gorkes ‘79 reports that Brother Robert Burkhart ‘81 died on October 4, 2018. Bob had been struggling with endocarditis, an infection of the heart chambers.

Some of the Kappa Sig Brother’s reminiscing about their Chapter Eternal brother Bob:

“I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. “Bubba” was GMC when my pledge class was going through. He provided a stable guiding influence to our class and could always be counted upon. Several years after graduation, I was in the process of moving from Denver to L.A. with my wife, and was trying to find an apartment before we moved. Bob was working in L.A. at the time and graciously let me crash at his place during my search. He was a good friend and brother. He will be missed.”
