The Spring ’05 semester has a good experience thus far. Spring recruitment was successful and we look forward to initiating four quality men by the end of the semester. Thon was also a success this semester, as the chapter, along with our partner the Society of Women Engineers, raised over $17,000 for the Four Diamonds Fund.
The chapter has also participated in numerous philanthropies this semester run by other Greek organizations that support various causes. Our participation in intramurals is continually increasing and we hope to finish the season as one of the highest fraternities in the standings. The chapter has strengthened relations with many other Greek organizations and we hope to continue with this.
The EC this semester has changed from the beginning and we believe we have a great group of five guys for the jobs. In recent weeks the brothers have gathered to make improvements to the house, including painting, and refurbishing damaged panels and composites.
We are all looking forward to the festivities of Blue and White weekend and we hope for it to be a great time for everyone involved. Our rush plan for the Fall ’05 semester is under way and we are determined to get a pledge class of no fewer than 20 men. Overall, the chapter is excited to be getting more involved in various activities and we continue to strive to make Alpha Delta the best chapter it can be.
