February 15th to the 17th, we have our annual THON weekend. So far, Alpha Delta and our sorority pair, Gamma Sigma Sigma, have raised more than $49,000 … and continues to increase daily. The money is given to the Four Diamonds Fund, in support of patients and families battling pediatric cancer.
Alpha Delta is proud to announce that our cumulative GPA is currently a 3.30, making us 3rd highest on campus and well above the All Men’s GPA Average. We continually hold study hours for associated and initiated members.
The new Executive Committee consists of Steven Koniuk as Grand Master, Sean Kotalik as Grand Procurator, Rob Sears as Grand Master of Ceremonies, Jim Fagan as Grand Treasurer, and Mike Petrun as Grand Scribe. Together, our goals are to better brotherhood development, build stronger, lasting relationships with our alumni, and to obtain a FACE award at this year’s Grand Conclave.
SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST…
Our greatest accomplishment this semester, though, was obtaining a chapter house for the upcoming semesters. Housing Chair Connor Kincheloe spent over two years searching for a house to accommodate Alpha Delta. Through his hard work, and the support of our Alumni Housing Board, Alpha Delta is proud to announce that, beginning of this summer, we will be living in an official chapter house.
Kappa Sig’s new home will be located at 232 East Nittany Avenue in State College. Twenty brothers will be moving in during the (2013-2014) school year. This is an official fraternity house, so we can now put up our letters. Finally, our alumni will have a place to visit when they return to Happy Valley. So please stop by next year to see our new home!
A special thanks goes out to Grand Master Steven Koniuk <[email protected]> for providing this undergraduate update!
