We THON … because of Nick Tafel.
With canning complete and THONvelopes arriving in the mail each day, Alpha-Delta’s current total has surged past the $20,000 mark. The brothers, in conjunction with partner sorority Gamma Sigma Sigma, look to make their annual final stretch push by garnering corporate and individual online donations. With all the work put in and dollars raised, we can’t help but forget the reason we THON. Alpha-Delta’s THON child, Nick Tafel, has now been cancer free for five years and happily came up to State College on Saturday, February 1, with his family to partake in a laser-tag tournament with the brothers. The Tafel family is looking foward to THON 2014 as they do every year and will join with us to THON “in hopes of one day dancing in celebration of a cure!”
