Different House, Same Kappa Sig Morals

Brandon Fello– Undergraduate President

As the first President to serve a full term in the NEW Kappa Sigma house, I can attest this housing situation is very different compared to our former home at 232 East Nittany Avenue.

Moving into a house that almost no one had any previous experience with has been a challenge, but my Brothers and I strive every day to make it our own. With a larger house we have received a lot of new attention, some negative and some positive.

State of the Fraternity

As the current Grand Master of Penn State’s Alpha-Delta chapter of Kappa Sigma, it is my pleasure to report to you all on the state of our beloved fraternity. As a member of the fall 2014 pledge class and Master of the Ritual, I have the experience and commitment necessary to help propel Alpha-Delta into being the best fraternity of which I am capable. Alpha-Delta prides itself on an abundance of aspects such as rush, academics, philanthropy/community service, ritual numbers, and brotherhood.

Brothers Outside Of State College!

Brother Jacob Moll ‘14 is currently studying in Jönköping, Sweden at Jönköping University. His program is through the CIRT program in the College of Education. While studying abroad, Jacob is most looking forward to being in a new culture for five months while also getting the opportunity to travel to a few other countries during his free time. So far, Jacob has visited London and plans to visit Copenhagen, Rome, and hopefully somewhere in Germany. While he is at Jönköping University, Jacob is practicing his IM volleyball for this upcoming fall at the university, where they hold free two hour practices for the students a few times a week. Jacob would like to congratulate all the brothers graduating this spring and wish them success in their future. “I look forward to seeing you all once I return. A to B.”

The Chapter Eternal

A past president of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at The Pennsylvania State University, Merritt Sweeney ’00 passed away at the young age of 38 this past January, following a lengthy illness.

Budding Beauty All Around!

Springtime in our beloved college town brings thousands of Penn Staters out of hibernation and onto the beautiful grounds of Dear Old State, where squirrels scamper, birds chirp and Lions roar. . . lots of natural beauty budding all over campus!

Some old memories, like the gang in this throwback from ‘74 soaking in the sunshine and enjoying the Happy Valley Spring weather.

Spring comes in like a LION!

This year’s Blue-White Game features the Nittany Lion’s Top-20 recruiting class and returning star halfback Saquon Barkley.
